My new camera

My camera went kaput on me so I decided to take the plunge and get another point and shoot - what do you think? It does alright but I think I like my old one better...

These are the better of the shots I took. Can you tell who the joy of my life is?? She is the reason I get up in the morning, she helps me to move on and look at the world in a positive light.

Keegan got a new drum set from his grandma - just really glad that it's not in MY house!! (at least while Keegan's playing it) Alana plays it pretty good - she was playing it so well Nancy and I thought Jaydin was playing it when it was actually Alana.

Alana was hitting daddy's head pretty hard! Silly girl, she's got her daddy wrapped around her little finger :):)

3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday my sweet Alana!!!!!

What a fun birthday party we had for our little 3 year old! She had so much fun with her cousins playing and dancing and just having a really fun time. And of course what's a birthday without cake, ice cream and presents!! Hope you enjoy all the pictures :) Oh and thank you so much to my wonderful sister Nancy for taking pictures for us of the party.

Here are just a few things that Alana loves and does:

- Singing and Dancing
- Sings ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle, and Wise Man and Foolish Man, and many other songs
- Love's playing with ALL her cousins
- Can go potty in the toilet for about 6 months now
- Loves Nursery
- Favorite foods are Noodles, Fruit, Meat, Crackers and of course Candy!!
- Loves to help mommy bake
- Cuddles with mommy every morning
- Is starting to recognize letters
- LOVES playing in the dirt and sand!
- Always has to "play" with her belly button when falling asleep (kinda her pacifier)
- and of course loves watching Diego!! (and Dora, and Little Bear, and ... just about anything!)

Alana's night night

Cheney and back again...

Well just thought I'd update on what's been going on with us.

We decided to take another trip up to Cheney/Spokane to look at places and see if any rentals appeal to us. At first we thought we'd look in Spokane cause I thought I might like to live in the "big" city for awhile if David decides to get a job with a trucking company where he would have to be gone for over a month but then I realized that Spokane may just be a little much for this small town girl, sooo we looked in Cheney and think we found a house that will work for us. It's 3 bed 1 bath (teeny tiny bathroom) but it would work. Tiny kitchen as well but there is plenty of storage space for all our "junk" to go. That's about it for the house hunting.

As for our sweet little girl, she is doing great - teething like crazy and just as joyful as ever. She's actually teething so much that she's bruised the tips of both her index fingers using them as teethers. Ouch. That's about it - I know boring but maybe next post will be that we actually got a place up there!

16 months old today!!

(I'll just warn you right off the bat, I'm sick so this post may not be all that coherent)

She loves her new Christmas toy. It spins, makes music and you can move the pieces around - what more could a kid ask for?


Playing with cousin Keegan's new toy he got for his birthday. Alana's cousin Jeramy is likin the piano part. Funny story about this, notice she loves the microphone, well in church the next day I had to give the closing prayer and for some reason David wasn't able to take her so I took her up with me and she decided she wanted to try that microphone too!!



Just this last Sunday - at my sisters ward. I love this outfit on her!



My baby was so sick the other day - this was after a huge mess (from both ends - YUCK!!!) and we were at a hotel of all places!! And she wasn't done - she did the same thing today - at least we were at home for that one though.

Not much goin on

Well not really much going on this week, last week was a little hectic but this week I'm just hangin out trying to get some scrapbooking done and my house clean. When it was time they were ready to go home, so it worked out for all of us.

Last week for Spring break I had my niece Charlene and my two nephews Salvador and Ramiro over. We had a blast together. It was so much fun going to the park, the library, playing games and just overall having fun with them.
