My Darling is already 4 months old

ALANA ELOISE

Man it seems like just yesterday that I gave birth to my sweet little angel, I can't believe that four months have passed already. She is such a joy in my life and I cherish every minute I have with her. Heavenly Father has truly given us a precious gift to treasure and nurture on this Earth. She has already learned how to smile such a sweet little smile

And to eat

And roll over

I'm so greatful that there is so much to look forward to...

I'm Proud to be an American

I just thought this picture was hilarious - I know it seems a little cruel but that's how I feel.

Alana being silly

Babies are so funny! - Gotta love em

We just thought this was so hilarious - for some reason Alana just kept going for Michael's face when he would rub his beard against her face. She looked annoyed at him - hmm silly babies:)

Alana Munching

Here is Alana munching - she is so funny!

Sledding

I just have one thing to say ---

DAVID IS NUTS!!!!

I can't believe this is my husband sledding!!

What a kid! Yes he did about kill himself and I was terrified that he wasn't going to get up from this one, but thankfully he didn't do any permanent damage and had just a few scrapes and bruises to show for it. You'll have to complement him on his sledding tactics at church:)

I was just to the right of him and saw it all happen - very scary!

Oh and that is my little brother laughing in the background (he was filming) - He said "as soon as I saw David give the thumbs up I started laughing"

love this pic!

I had to share - I just love this picture David took of Alana. A picture is worth a thousand words!!
Update - to answere your question Summer - No she hadn't just woken up, but David had been taking a lot of pictures of her and he just happened to catch this face, she was just sitting there not doing much - hangin out you might say :)

Salt Lake with my parents

We had so much fun going to Salt Lake City were my parents live, for New Years. We had so much fun seeing the lights on Temple Square for the first time and just generally hanging out with my parents. They were so excited to be able to see Alana again after not seeing her since she was born. My Dad had so much fun playing with her and just really enjoyed being Grandpa again after not seeing any grandkids for awhile.

Alana just didn't know what to think of Grandpa, she stared at him pretty good for a little while and before long was cooin and gooin at him.
She was such a ham the whole time - I love this pic with the Temple in the background.

We were sooo cold, it was absolutely FREEZING the night we went to see the lights on Temple Square.

I wish we could have had more time to hang out and look around. There just never seems to be enough time to do things. oh well it was a blast while we were there.
